Stamp your style, on your day!
Fun Signage
From colourful neon lights to handwritten calligraphy or rustic wooden boards, signage is another creative way to put a personal stamp on your styling. Display your favourite quote, a personal monogram, your initials or even a fun catchphrase to get the party started! They make a great photo backdrop too, so get your wedding hashtag ready.
Switch Up Your Table Numbers
Give each table a name that reflects a part of your relationship or hobby you enjoy! You can name your tables after countries you’ve travelled to, sentimental landmarks, meaningful dates, movie titles… the options are endless. Include a card that shares the story behind it, creating a great conversation starter for your guests.
Personalise Your Wedding Favours
Wedding favours, are a lovely thank you gesture (Ya know, as well as dinner & drinks) give your guests something to take away, that reminds them of you. So before you order some M&M’s or love hearts, have a look at these ideas.
*Bake or make your favourite sweet treat – Get your tribe together & make some rocky road, brownies or cookies.
*Alcohol – YES! Who doesn’t like alcohol. Fill little jars with your favourite shot, you can get everyone to do it during speeches, or have a go at making our own. Flavoured vodkas, sloe gin or limoncello are great places to start.
*Caricatures – personalised, fun & unique. Your guests will love these & they will be great conversation starter at the table
*Charity pins – This gift keeps on giving. Choosing charities that are close to your hearts, means you are giving back & the message is being passed along to everyone in the room. By wearing the pins, they will also draw awareness. You can even make a yearly anniversary donation each year too.
*Lego – Get some LEGO mini figures and add bowls of spare parts, like heads, hats hair etc. Your guests can choose and customise their own LEGO to take home as wedding favours. You could even get some button magnets to stick on the back.
Bring in your own flair
Don’t like the chairs, but hate the idea of chair covers? Hire chairs in, and you don’t even have to go for the standard Chiavari ones either! Change to Long banquet rather than round tables. Bring in extra charm and hire small/large pieces of decor or bring your whole house with you.
Can you choose different linens? If your venue can’t provide anything other than white tablecloths & napkins, talk to local catering companies. If they can’t supply them, they may have contacts for people who can. While your at it, change up the glassware, tableware and crockery to fit your style, theme and colours.
